Designing Your OfferSimple is sovereign

CPA Note from Cat: As a sole proprietor, you file a Schedule C with your 1040. Set aside 25–30% of every dollar earned for self-employment tax + federal income tax. You don't need an LLC to start — but do open a separate checking account immediately. It makes everything cleaner at tax time.

Part Two
5 Mindset Shifts That Change Everything

The strategy is simple. The beliefs are what stop most women. Read each shift slowly. Mark which ones land hardest for you.

Week-by-Week Launch RoadmapFrom zero to first dollar

Week 1 — Clarity & Foundation

Days 1–7
  • Define your one offerWrite the one-sentence offer from Part 1, Section 2. Keep it brutally simple.
  • Set your priceChoose a number. Write it down. Say it out loud three times without apologizing.
  • Open a separate bank accountThis takes 10 minutes online. Label it "Sovereign Income."
  • Set up a payment methodStripe (stripe.com) or Gumroad for digital products. PayPal or Venmo for services. Free to start.
  • Write a list of 20 potential clientsPeople who might need your offer. Former colleagues, friends, social media followers, community members.

Week 2 — Outreach & Conversations

Days 8–14
  • Send 5 warm outreach messagesNot a pitch — a genuine check-in with a soft mention of what you're offering. No cold emails.
  • Post once on social media about your offerOne paragraph. Real, not polished. Lead with the problem you solve, not your credentials.
  • Have 2–3 discovery conversationsAsk: What are you struggling with? What have you tried? What would it be worth to solve this?
  • Refine your offer based on what you hearUpdate your one-sentence description if needed. The market teaches you.
  • Draft a simple email or message template3–4 sentences. Problem, what you offer, how to book/buy. Save it to reuse.

Week 3 — First Sale & Delivery

Days 15–21
  • Make your first offer to a warm leadName your price. Send the payment link. Don't follow up more than once.
  • Deliver at 110% for your first clientOver-deliver on your first paid engagement. That person becomes your biggest referral source.
  • Ask for a testimonial after delivery"Would you be willing to share a few sentences about your experience?" Keep it simple.
  • Track your income and set aside taxesLog it. Move 25–30% to your tax savings account immediately. Build the habit now.
  • Send 5 more outreach messagesMomentum is built by staying in motion. Don't stop after the first yes.

Week 4 — Review, Repeat & Scale

Days 22–30
  • Count your income for the monthWrite the number. Be proud of it — even if it's $50. First dollars break the pattern.
  • Identify what worked and what to stopWhich outreach converted? Which didn't? Only repeat what worked.
  • Set Month 2 revenue targetAim for 2x what you made in Month 1. Keep it achievable, not overwhelming.
  • Ask your first client for a referral"Do you know anyone who might benefit from this?" Most referrals come from one ask.
  • Celebrate. This is sovereignty in motion.Note how it feels. Journal it. This is the moment your financial story starts to change.

"You don't need a perfect plan. You need a first step and the courage to take it before you feel ready."
